Wah Cantt-PAKISTAN: A New Academic Block was inaugurated at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Wah Campus. The new campus building spans 125,000 square feet. The event was graced by the Rector CUI, Prof. Dr. Sajid Qamar, alongside the Director Campus, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid, T.I. and Founding Rector, Prof. Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi, H.I., S.I..
Also present at the event were Registrar CUI, Prof. Dr. Sajjad A. Madani and former Directors of CUI Wah Campus.
On this occasion, the Rector of CUI appreciated and acknowledged the invaluable efforts, contribution and unwavering commitment of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid, T.I., Director Campus for ensuring timely completion with exceptional quality of work at every stage for the New Academic Block-1. He also expressed his sincere appreciation to Dr. Tahir Naeem, Director P&D and HRD, and Dr. Jawwad Ahmad, Project Director, for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the project’s successful completion on time with high quality standards.
The academic block provides state-of-the-art facilities, including a modern library, study hall, faculty offices, laboratories, classrooms/lecture theaters, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium for indoor sports. Additionally, the Rector also commended the exemplary efforts of the consultant, contractor, and relevant campus committees for their role in ensuring the timely and high-standard completion of the Academic Block.
A large gathering of Faculty, Staff, Officers and Alumni of CUI Wah Campus attended the inauguration.
