Leopard Incident – DHA Phase 2 Isb

On 16 Feb 23, at 4 pm a Leopard was spotted in DHA Phase 2 Isb. After hectic and well coord efforts by teams ex DHA Isb, ICT Admin and Wild Life Dept, Leopard was tranquilized and captured.
During the process of capturing the leopard, three individuals including one DHA Isb security supervisor suffered minor injuries, who have been discharged after necessary first aid treatment. There is no case of death due to leopard.
Wild Life Dept has taken the Leopard to safe custody.
DHA Isb has ordered an inquiry (using CCTV cameras etc)
to ascertain possible entry of Leopard in DHA Phase 2.
Any possibility of Leopard being a pet shall also be confirmed, in which case strict legal action will be initiated against the culprit.
