A sessions court in the country’s federal capital will frame charges against the ousted premier and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case today on Tuesday.
Last month, Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal announced an indictment date for a recalcitrant Pakistani politician who has faced spate of cases since his impeachment. Today, the court reserved judgment on a petition by Imran Khan seeking relief from the obligation to appear in person in the Toshakana case on health grounds. His Gohar Ali Khan and his Ali Bukhari, the PTI chief attorneys, filed the case on his behalf and asked the court to schedule the next hearing after February 15. Continue…
