The gruesome murder of a Hong Kong model has shocked women around the world: slaughtered, dismembered, boiled and lost. The late-model case is making headlines for its gruesome nature: Abby Choi’s cruel treatment over a financial dispute with her ex-husband who meticulously planned her cold-blooded murder.

I was receiving The horrific incident came to light when police found a dismembered body kept in a refrigerator in a rural village house in Tai Po, a suburb of Hong Kong, near the border with mainland China. It was when

The last person to see Choi was reportedly her former brother-in-law, who also worked as her driver. Police said her parents-in-law misled investigators with fabricated lies.

Superintendent Alan Chong told the media that Choy’s remains were found in a village house that had been used as a slaughterhouse in rented housing in the Tai Po district in the north of the city.

“We’re still looking for heads, torsos, or hands,” Chong said.

“Tools used to dismember the human body were found in the apartment, including a meat grinder, a chainsaw, a long raincoat, gloves and a mask,” Chong said.

The crime scene/village house, recently rented from her former father-in-law, is devoid of furniture, suggesting it was set up to carry out Choi’s murder and dispose of her remains. Nearly 100 police officers combed the General Cemetery in China. That included a diving team stationed in a nearby watershed, which she suspected was a dumping ground for Choi’s remains, the superintendent suggested.

“Two stews were left at the scene that appeared to contain human tissue. The house was equipped with an electric saw and a meat grinder for chopping human flesh,” Chong said.
Hong Kong police have arrested four people in connection with Choi’s murder. The late model’s ex-husband, Alex Kwon, 28, was also arrested on charges of murder and attempting to flee the city by boat. Along with Kwon, his father, mother and brother were also arrested the day before on the same charges.

“We believe that the victim and her ex-husband’s family have many financial disputes involving large sums of money. It motivated me,” he said.

Chong said at a press conference that her socialite’s ex-husband was arrested while trying to escape from Tung Chung’s development pier on Lantau Island, one of the city’s offshore islands.

At the time of her arrest, Kwong had her HK$500,000 in cash and several luxury watches totaling HK$4 million. Kwon later complained of feeling unwell at Hung Hom Police Station and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei.

Police concluded that the former couple had a son and daughter and will be in the care of the late model’s mother.

In terms of her work, Choi is an international model with considerable fame and experience and was photographed last month at Ellie’s Saab her Spring/Summer 2023 haute couture show in Paris, France. She recently appeared as her model on the digital her cover of luxury magazine L’Officiel Monaco and also participated in this year’s Paris Fashion Her Week.
