Asim Munir, COAS, meets Gen. Sir Patrick Sanders of the UK

Earlier this week, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir spoke with Chief of General Staff (CGS) General Sir Patrick Sanders of the United Kingdom. During the meeting, CGS stated that “the military partnership between our two countries continues to grow, with exciting opportunities for the future.” The Pakistan Army Chief was in the UK from February 5 to February 9 and met with defense officials while attending the Wilton Park conference. This was Gen. Asim Munir’s first trip to the UK since taking over as COAS. According to reports, he came to the UK at the British government’s invitation.
