DUBAI – In another achievement, the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has won the ‘Best New Banknote’ award for its new Dh1,000 banknote.
The distinction was made during the annual awards ceremony for the “Banknote and ID Document of the Year Awards” and was made possible by the distinctive designs and cutting-edge security features of the currency note.
The ceremony, which was conducted in Abu Dhabi in conjunction with the High Security Printing EMEA conference, showcased the bank’s adoption of cutting-edge security measures and the most recent technical standards in its polymer-based banknotes.
According to Gulf News, the CBUAE employed multi-colored KINEGRAM in its note, making UAE the first nation in the Middle East to print banknotes with the widest surface applied foil stripe of its kind.
The United Arab Emirates has recently won numerous prizes, and the world community is increasingly taking notice of its position. Its passport just rose from position 35 to become the best in the world according to the Nomad capitalist ranking.
The research stated: “This is largely due to recent amendments allowing foreigners to seek for dual citizenship, which, along with the travel privileges given by a UAE passport, plus the nation’s business-friendly atmosphere and enviable tax system, puts the UAE top of our list for 2023.
The United Arab Emirates has been in the spotlight for the past year as a result of a number of occasions, the most recent of which was the Dubai Expo, which attracted millions of visitors who were astounded by the rapid development of the nation.
