Islamabad – October 06, 2025 – Zong, Pakistan’s leading technology innovation company, has made history with its Manhunt 2 PUBG Mobile tournament, setting a new national record for esports participation in Pakistan. Powered by Zong Engage, Pakistan’s premiere esports gaming platform, the tournament drew more than 21,000 gamers and over 1,300 registered teams, cementing Zong’s position as the country’s largest third-party PUBGM tournament host.

Powered by InMobiles and Golootlo, the high-energy tournament features an impressive Rs. 800,000 prize pool, highlighting Zong’s commitment to digital entertainment and meaningful youth engagement.

This year, international teams are also stepping into the arena, bringing a global edge to the competition. Esports contenders from Nepal, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Mongolia, South Korea, and Indonesia will go head-to-head with Pakistan’s finest, giving local teams a rare chance to test their mettle against some of the region’s strongest lineups. This clash of local talent with global leaders promises to raise the intensity and prestige of the tournament to new heights.

The tournament has already captured the attention of the gaming community nationwide, and anticipation is building for the Grand Finale, livestreamed from October 24 to 26, 2025, on Zong’s official YouTube and Facebook channels.

Sajid Munir, Director Marketing at Zong, shared his thoughts on this milestone: “Through Zong Engage, we have brought together a vibrant gaming community that embodies the spirit of Pakistan’s digital transformation. This milestone is not just about scale; it reflects our strategic commitment to building platforms that inspire innovation, empower youth, and shape the future of the country’s digital ecosystem by creating meaningful avenues for digital engagement.”

The success of Manhunt 2 is a result of strong partnerships with InMobiles, Golootlo, PUBGM, and Bloodmoon eSports, each playing a vital role in amplifying the scale and visibility of this landmark esports initiative.

With this record-breaking achievement, Zong continues to redefine digital entertainment in Pakistan, pushing the boundaries of engagement and innovation for the country’s fast-growing gaming community.
