PSL8 will begin today with a colorful opening ceremony.

In the opener defending champions Lahore Qalandars begin their title defence against Multan Sultans at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday. The top players will inspire fans in a cordial atmosphere and cricket enthusiasts are expecting season eight to be more spectacular than ever before. Multan, the city of saints, will host the opening ceremony in which pop artists including Abdullah Siddiqui, Asim Azhar, Aima Baig, Faris Shafi, Sahir Bagga, and Shae Gill will treat fans with electrifying performances. The gates of the Stadium will open at 2 pm today as officials advised spectators to arrive before time to avoid last time rush. After Multan, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi will host the 34-match tournament. This time Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Multan Sultans are said to be the favorites with top players. Qalandars, Kings are also powered by noted international stars.
