Mohammad Amir celebrates personal milestone despite Karachi Kings’ loss

A picture of Mohammad Amir, celebrating his four-wicket spell against Peshawar Zalmi, has gone viral on social media.

Amir can be seen sitting in front of a cake, in which his four-over spell figures are written.

Amir created history in his aforementioned spell, as he removed Zalmi’s top-order inside his first two overs.

Amir, who was coming back from injury, trapped Mohammad Haris lbw with his trademark inswing delivery on the first ball of the match.

The left-arm pacer wasn’t done yet as he removed the big fish in Babar Azam for a duck as well in the same over.

This was the first time in PSL history that a team’s top three batsmen were collectively dismissed for less than 3 runs.

Amir ended up with four wickets, while conceding 26 runs in his fiery four-over spell.

Despite Amir’s heroic spell, Zalmi went onto post 197-5, courtesy of a brilliant knock by Rovman Powell.

The social media users on Twitter didn’t like Amir celebrating a personal milestone, considering his team lost the match by 24 runs.
