On Monday, Pakistan avoided a series sweep by defeating Afghanistan in the third T20I encounter at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The Green Shirts put on a strong showing after dropping the first two games, with their bowlers holding off a total of 183 runs in the last T20I.
Ihsanullah, a fiery pacer, bowled superbly in the series finale, claiming three wickets off just 29 runs in just four overs.
Prior to his harsh bouncer at Najibullah Zadran, Ihsanullah dismissed Rahmanullah Gurbaz (18) and Karim Janat (naught).
Najibullah was unable to continue the game after the pacer’s crisp bouncer during the eleventh over caused him to haemorrhage from the chin.
Najibullah was stable but could not resume his innings.
Social media users on Twitter started comparing Ihsanullah with Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar, saying that the young fast bowler reminded them of the former bowler.
Let’s take a look:
Ihsanullah later checked on the fellow cricketer to see if he is fine.
