Karachi – The Government of Sindh and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have decided to continue the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 8 in the big cities as planned.
The latest development is that outlawed Pakistani Teherek-e-Taliban militants stormed the Karachi Police Station (KPO), raising questions about security measures amid an ongoing cricket league.
When allegations were raised, the Pakistan Cricket Board called an emergency meeting, reportedly attended by all franchise members, including security and provincial government officials.

Today, home side Karachi Kings will take on the Quetta Gladiators at the National Bamuk Cricket Arena, while Peshawar Zalmi and others will arrive in the country’s biggest city to join the match.
Local media reports said the Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Kalandar were training at Karachi’s stadium at the time of the attack. Players reportedly remained in the stadium until security checks were conducted.
