Shebaz and Bilawal visit Turkey for solidarity visit after ‘apocalyptic’ earthquake

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto will visit quake hit Türkiye on Wednesday to express solidarity with the friendly nation which was battling one of the worst natural disasters in recent times.
More than 3,000 people have died and thousands have been injured, leaving the world in shock and fears the death toll will continue to rise as rescue efforts progress.
Local media reports, citing diplomatic sources, claimed that the Turkish Prime Minister would visit Bhutto along with Foreign Minister Bilawal to show solidarity with the Turkish people.
During the visit, the Prime Minister visited the affected areas and spoke to Turkey about the destruction caused by the deadly seismic activity as Turkiye faces its worst disaster since the 1939 earthquake that killed thousands. Learn from authorities.
In the Turkish capital, Shebaz will visit President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss relief efforts and exchange views on common concerns.
Accompanying the Prime Minister, FM Bilawal will interact with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu. PPP leaders extend their condolences and solidarity to the peoples and governments of friendly countries.
Meanwhile, two of her C-130 planes leave for Turkey today carrying relief and her 36 search and rescue crews.

Top organisations and scores of countries have responded with support after Turkiye’s massive earthquake that struck the central country and bordering Syrian regions.
