China has called for an immediate cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, expressing strong opposition to any forced displacement and relocation of Palestinian civilians. Chinese top diplomat Wang Yi emphasized that any arrangement concerning the future of the Palestinian people must have their consent. The call for a cease-fire was made during talks with visiting Arab and Islamic foreign ministers. China is actively engaging with Arab and Islamic countries, as well as other permanent members of the UN Security Council, to address the Palestinian-Israeli issue. President Xi Jinping, along with French President Emmanuel Macron, underscored the importance of avoiding further deterioration in the situation and highlighted the two-state solution as fundamental for resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflicts.
